About Me

Since I was a little girl I can remember going through my grandmothers’ photo albums to look back upon old memories and how important these moments being captured were as a part of our family traditions. Later in life I learned how creative my family members were as my Aunt married a very skilled photographer named Joel DeGrand and others developed careers and hobbies linked to the craft of photography. As a young mom, pictures were my life, capturing each moment of waking breath my children took. I almost didn’t want to miss a thing.

I have always been obsessed with what other photographers can do. Following the works of others and their creative style is an art form that speaks to me and is a world of possibility. More than anything, photos capture worlds of life, fleeting moments we cannot get back. For this, it is a profession that is so important so that families, couples, and people have those experiences captured. Even just capturing changing seasons,
